Too bad - they left the old hood shape after all that work. Sheesh. Who would do this?

Is this a custom 'one off' job or a 'kit' that will be mass marketed? Can't imagine there would be too many buyers.

Actually, don't be surprised if it sells well enough in Europe to make it worthwhile for those developing it. Europeans are much more sensitive to their cars looking current-model than we are in the US.

gpallem,

Totally disagree, I'd rather say the opposite.

Ciao,

Johannes,

I can speak comfortably for Belgium. As soon as Porsche (and the other high-end brands) comes out with painted bumperettes, clear turn signals, or other "updates", lots of people there go in to have their two or three year old cars updated as well. In the US, it seems to happen less for that specific reason. The fact that people here ask such things as, "What year is your car?" on a frequent basis may have something to do with that. As does probably the fact that most people have no idea which model is what. Here, it seems to me that many Porsche owners like to "customize" their car a bit to their personal taste (spoiler, wheels, etc.) but do so as a personal expression and for their own taste rather than in an effort to disguise its vintage.
