Am thinking on getting a set of spacers for my MY99 996 but am frankly new to all this upgrading stuff as far as Porsches go. The different wheel sizes and options I've seen so far on this forum alone from owners make me dizzy even. However I'd like to go up from the stock 17" wheels I have probably to 18" wheels and also add spacers. I am thinking of a set of Contisport N2 tires as well as my current Contisport tires on my all wheel drive 3 series have performed great especially for the cost.

Any thoughts or direction/guidance from you guys/gals as to how to start off on this "project" of mine would be greatly appreciated! The education on this board from previous/current owners to newbies or posible future Porsche car owners I must say is outstanding...best I've seen.
