Default MAF installation tips

Picked up a new Bosch MAF sensor as a PM item for my 996.2 engine with 49k on the clock. Any tips on the steps or issues with just replacing (connector and two allen bolts). Will it cause any issues, e.g. generating codes or affecting fuel trim requiring other steps? Don't want to create any issues.

Pretty much plug and play. I didn't experience any codes or issues when I replaced mine.

It shouldn't throw any codes but a good practice is to remove your battery ground cable for a few minutes to reset the DME values and allow it to re-learn the new MAF.
