Congrats!
Targas are cool. There used to be a ton of them, made in the late 80’s. I had one and loved it. They are back with the 992, and to me, looks really good.
I hardly see the 996 targa, so I think they are even more cool because they are a tad obscure.

Hey guys want to hear something funny on my Drive back from LA....I-10 east.....low and behold was a 996.2 coupe with a lady driving it back to Az (Az plates)...I was in awe how low and great angles the 996 has from the rear, side and front....I pretty much followed the 996 from Coachella to Blythe, were I pulled off to get gas and some food...
I may get flack for this, but that lady didnt seem to care about IMS or other issues that are brought up on these boards as she just drove and made me feel much better that the 996 was flawless in 99 degree weather and this 6 hour drive....I am more impressed now and glad I got my 996....Now the wait is for mine to get here Mon or Tuesday

Hmmmm so the sales guy told me this morning that my Targa was supposed to be delivered today around noon, said he called the driver, after I asked for an update. Driver just called and said he is still in Albuquerque, NM and might get to me till next morning. He said he hasnt talked to anyone today....
