IMS Retrofit Registration important? (Not IMS failure question)
#16
I mailed in my perfect IMSB and registered the silly little thing with LN - after the solution was installed by a certified installer...
Given the hype on failures new owner might want to see the trail. I have the receipt of course for the work done but the paper trail with LN is an added touch
Not much effort to play the game
That said I hope never to sell my low mi 2004 AE car!

I recently found my 2011 bearing was not on the LN site. Wish it had been registered, but I wasn’t even aware of it at the time to followup. I have receipts of the work from a certified indy that did the work. If that’s not good enough for someone when I sell it they can just move on to the next car.

Hi,
Last update. I registered at the LN Engineering website and shipped the previous bearing and card by UPS Ground today, with work completed 8/30/2023. Should be there in 5-6 working days.
Car is running well (no reason not too, lol) and my next job will be to try to restore or fix my cracked steering wheel. I have those old carbon fiber wheels and the plastic/epoxy cracked long ago. I've seen some repairs or replacements at places like macarbon.com? Kind of wish I could just find a place to redo the epoxy since I think the rest of the wheel is fine.
Louie.
