You cannot have 61-63 degree cabin temp
Mine goes from 64F to Low. Huge issue, right up there with other 996 oversights and debacles.
Who else struggles to get through life having to deal with such situations? No glove box is fine, I don’t wear gloves. No cup holder is fine, I don’t wear cups.
I’d sell the car if it weren’t for the cassette tape holders. With that, I can store my favorites, such as:
1) Starship - We Built This City
2) Wham - Make It Big
3) Billy Ocean - Suddenly
4) Barbra Streisand - Guilty
Although I do sometimes have to switch tape 4 out for Olivia Newton-John - If You Love Me Let Me Know
The last thing I’ll say is that my 996 pales in comparison to the Mitsubishi 4x4 rental car I used recently while traveling on the Big Island. That SUV had dents and scratches all over it, failed to start at least once (why do rental car companies have cars with 55k miles on them?), and I had to put air in 2 tire the first day (they were down 10psi each). But at least I could choose 62F.
