What about using a portable jump charger and some thick wires? Will the amperage be too high?

Do make sure that you feed the motor and not the wiring loom! And be prepared to see some arching as you're basically shorting the two wires till the motor starts turning. You could wire a 12V car bulb (21W brake light) in between that limits the current, not as great as a resistor but it should work.

But perhaps the easier and risk-minimized way would be to do step 7. If you get 12V on the DVM display for whatever short time (record a video with your phone, if you have no helper at hand) then you can do the following:
-switch off ignition
-connect the booster pump pig tail to the wiring loom
-put your hand on the booster pump
-have a helper (doh...) turn on the ignition
-feel for the motor starts to turn.

Depending on how far you want to go, but these (used on BMW's) female terminals fit the male terminals of pressure sensor, booster pump (and others) exactly

I don't know to which tyco or AMP type of terminal they cross reference to, unfortunately.

Cant help ya with the issues but love seeing that you're getting it on track so much!

I might've missed it but are you swapping between street & track pads or are you just wearing them out?

Also, I didnt see a track mentioned but Im guessing you're hitting the Ridge and SIR? Bummed I never got a car on track while I lived up there...
