Since the winter season is here I continued with some interior modifications
I have a real soft spot for carbon interiors.
Luckily for me I found a new in box OEM carbon stereo surround that I had to get.
Looks so much nicer than the oem plastic one.
And I'm going to do a modification that I've always wanted to to but never got around to, coloured seat belts!
New OEM belts in red will look so good!
Hopefully I'll find the time to swap them in tomorrow
And last but not least, needed an interior upgrade at the home office!

Got the seat belts in, wow they made a huge difference!
Super happy with the result
And a new license plate frame, I'm such a nerd...

The splash of red and splash of carbon is a great combo. Should update your stitching too to match the steering wheel, lots of pain as that may be

Looks fantastic. Wish I would’ve done the seat belts before the cage install.

Thanks bro
The seat belts really kicked the whole interior up a notch!
Haha, yeah the thought has crossed my mind...
Yeah the cage will not do you any favours when swapping them, since you need to pry out the side panel a bit.
But they are worth getting so you can do it whenever you have a couple of spare hours
Got a package from Rennline today, was missing the carbon armrests to finalise the door cards

After

So something came up, I decided that with the momo wheel it was a little bit to much race car and not the sports car it is. So I found a T96 steering wheel in black leather and alcantara with red stiching and a red band
Looks way more OEM+ which I prefer on this car.
Only four more months until next season!

There's some more upgrades in the pipeline
Since we have around -17 degrees here in Sweden currently the 996 is just chilling in the garage
First real modification of 2024, got a killer deal on a Tequipment roll over bar that I had to get
Since I probably need to take the car outside to fit it I decided I would try it out with my play seat

Small but fun update, details matter
Had a small crack in my old key case so I decided to upgrade to a Tequipment
Looks way nicer then the old one

Thanks! Looks way better than the old black plastic one!
Some more small updates, new set of OEM side markers since the old ones had some sun cracks and are +20 years old
And a extremely useful modification, Tequipment gas cap... Looks good though!
And since it still winter over here I found a good deal on a indoor cover so I snagged that up

So I decided I needed to get som more carbon in the interior!
Got a center console from DB Carbon and fitted it today
Old vs new:
And the office:
Unfortunately winter is till here so no driving yet!
But I got to pick up my new Volvo XC60
Plug-in Hybrid AWD, 405hp, perfect daily
New XC60 vs old XC60
I have some more track prep in the pipe line and keep you updated as parts arrive
