Man, some of you keyboard warriors... lol Always makes me laugh, so thanks for that. This is a track car build, that gets driven on the street some.
Furthermore, who cares about the money? I also wanted a tune anyway, was always on the build list. I am also guessing some of you cannot even turn a wrench on your own car, probably the same keyboard warriors.
Regardless, to those of you who actually commented with intent to help, thank you.
I did it for sound. It sounds amazing. And zero drone.
Weight. Its definitely lighter.
And power. It feels noticeably more powerful. With the tune, the throttle pedal has way more feel. I felt the change immediately. Mid corner throttle inputs are far better now. Its not a massive power jump, but it definitely pulls better than before.
Plus, the car is a toy. It just added to the enjoyment.

Completely agree on the pull. It definitely has better apex and exit pull. I like it. On the street, sound is good without drone and quiet when I want it. I definitely was looking to a tune soon regardless of pipe. I already bought a GT3 throttle body and I will get that tune shortly.
The glorious noise and weight savings...mostly race car stuff.
I imagine in a track setting, with a tune, you may see some additional oomph at high RPM's as well. I just never saw the point of cat elimination for the street. At least go with 200 cell cats or something.
To be fair, your question sounded 180 of what you just stated, it sounded like casual driver noticed performance loss ,,, how to fix?
Its really how can I keep my low end power up on my track toy..
Lot of options so the answers will be all over..
