Default 996 Cab Roof Leak

My cab has a roof leak that neither my mechanic nor I can diagnose. After every significant rain the rear passenger footwell is flooded. The roof is relatively new, we replaced the seal between the windows (which was leaking, but not enough to flood the footwell), we have blown out the drain tube twice, we have sat there with a hose and not found it, etc. in addition to the footwell being soaked, so is the well directly under the seat. All thoughts would be appreciated.

The drain tubes get brittle with age, you may need to follow them end to end to find the crack.. Some even break off..

Drain tubes for sure. Make sure they are clean from the groove in the clamshell to the drain pan behind the rear speakers. Then check from the drain pan down to the wheel wells. You must remove the wheel well liner to properly clean them. Search around here for lots of good tutorials.

Good afternoon, I have service manual, but it does not show the drain tube locations.
My 99 is leaking onto my left arm when braking. The water pours out of the channel at the leading edge of the top driver window seal whenever I use the brakes or make a hard right turn.

If you search around on here there is a diagram of teh cab and sunroof drains.. This is far from a new problem ...
If that water gets to your driver side floor it can short your cars ECU out.. I'd get it under cover ASAP.

Good afternoon,
I took this photo while driving it around to my garage where its been airing out. This is the first time its been wet aside from being washed in my ownership. Luckily there is no evidence of water damage anywhere. I did clean out the drains behind the rear speakers, but they were dry. Its seems that water is collecting somewhere between the hard plastic section and the canvas top. There is no water on the headliner or anywhere else, just that one spot and only when I hit the brakes or drive down a steep hill...
I am not good at using these forums, but will keep searching for the schematics.
Thanks,
Kirk

I have had a issue when I first got my car where one of the rubber bits got sort of folded about where that leak was at,
I had to straighten it out with my hands, then used some tape to hold it in place and shut the door.
Parked it outside in the sun on some hot days and it straightened it out. there are parts like this at each
window seal "junction" where the separate sections meet. So far so good..

Is yours a convertible? I actually opened up the channel of the seal on the front edge of the window and there was a foam tube stuffed into the lower of the two channels. I am wondering if this is what was causing the issue. I will wash it again and see what happens

That is very interesting. I am hoping that the foam cylinder is blocking drainage. I will update if it produces noise, I have not taken it out since the leak
