I LOVE THIS! I think he's on a mission similar to Irv Gordon that set a world record with his 3 million mile Volvo P1800s.

Two big takeaways - 1. Drive the car! 2. Short drain intervals - every 5000 miles. The guy claimed to drive 1000/ week on average and so that means he changing oil every other month. WOW!

I wonder what the highest mileage M96.0 is
edit: half million mile 40ae maybe?

Here is an update, this car made it into the Wall Street Journal today, now over 700,000 miles.

Sadly, Steve, the owner of that car, passed away not too far off hitting the 500k mile marker on his 40AE. I think the car went to his son but I should check in the registry to see if anyone knows what happened to it.
