Angry Morning Hesitation

Hi,

My car hesitates to start in the morning unless i press the accelarator it wont start by itself.. Only in the first morning start, otherwise it is normal all day.. ah, also it kind of jerks a bit on the first 2~3 minutes of driving (only first start)..

Anybody has any idea of what should the problem be..

For the record, i changed the o2 sensor not long ago.. serviced all filters also.. about 3,000km back..

It's probably that sticky stuff you put on the car yesterday...

I hope you get some constructive advice. Mine starts fine but is doing the same hesitation thing when I first roll out in the morning.

The first time I give it gas in the morning I get a little hesitation. All that I've talked to, including my service manager, have said that this is perfectly normal.

I had that problem about 18 months back. Dealer replaced the MAF and all was well again.

I have the same problem. There is also a flat spot when rapidly accelerating in the 5-6k range. Only noticeable when the car is cold. Dealer said it was normal behavior of a cold 996. My MAF was recently replaced after check engine light came on. Maybe I received a bad MAF. The car is new to me, MAF replaced soon after purchase.

I cahnged o2 sensors lately.. the flat spot is there mostly noticeable on 2nd and 3rd gear.. but i guess it's normal coz we get used to our cars so much we tend to notice little things like that..
