Default Refinishing wheels

Does anyone know if a wheel like this could be refinished? If so, any idea on how much this should cost? New to the forum, recently bought a 996 '05 c4s cab! Thanks for the help

I've seen worse get refinished and most places down by me around 150-175.00 per wheel.

Serious question- can you use sandpaper and a spray paint can ? Get the tire/s removed and clean the wheels . Use sandpaper to remove and feather the scratches . Clean the wheels again . If all looks and feels good then hit them with spray paint of choice .

Different story if you want them powder coated or Cerakote . Those finishes are generally considered pro finishes . They will media blast and then coat . The plus is these finishes are very tough . Downside is they are not easily touched up like spray paint .

There are mobile guys that will refinish the wheel(s) for you right in your driveway. Check around.

They'll bead blast and even the scratches, then paint and clear coat, most of the time they'll check for bends but not always. I personally wouldn't spray paint wheels especially on our cars that release so much brake dust.

Damn....I wish I had your guy up here in CT. I just paid $275 a wheel to have just the lips (wheel rim) refinished on 2 of my Sport Designs. They didn't even touch the wheel. And the flaws were very minor, but I'm a lunatic so I had to have it taken care of.

Oh man yeah multi-piece work is just as expensive, luckily the OP has regular wheels so that job is so much easier. I curbed a set of flow formed Vorsteiners on my VW and luckily there was no barrel damage, they'll true wheels as well and that gets a little pricey for a set of 4.

Easy, no more than $100-$200 bucks. Dealers usually have someone that does it or a powder coater would be a good bet. I think my wheels were around $175ish to coat and the included new tire mounting and center caps.
