Could be a great night.....
She is getting excited....!
Thank you once again....

Good luck with the purchase! In a few years I'll be doing the same for my wife and will be coming to you for advice on what to think about and look for. It's fun to get the wife involved.

Tough to see in my avatar picture, but that's my wife in the passenger seat on the track. That was the only day she went to the track with me. She wanted to see what it was about. She drove as a Novice in the green run group, but I took her out a few times in the black run group as a passenger. She handled the speed, braking and cornering forces well, not to mention the passing which can be pretty close and tight in the black group. She got a kick out of being strapped in tight with the harness and Hans by my race shop and appreciated the "dance" that develops on the track. But after doing it once, she has no interest in doing it again.

But, she does want to trade her convertible Audi in for a Boxster sometime in the next couple of years. Right now she still likes the back seat in the Audi.

Enjoy. We only live once. Better to do it with a Porsche!

So I'm looking for some Porsche jewelry. Anyone have any ideas/sources?
Thanks
Rick

I'd still go to St. Barts. In the last few months we've been all over the Caribbean with zero issues. (ie; Dominican Republic, Aruba, Curacau, Nassau, San Juan, St Kitts)

Oh, for sure. So much of COVID is hyped. St. Barts for us is a flight to Princess Juliana, then a ferry over to St.Barts. It was sounding complicated then I found out that there are testing requirements, and if we flunked the test we could be quarantined on one of the islands for 2 weeks. We go to Sandals also and at least they have a policy that if you become trapped like that they will extend your lodging at no coast. But just looking at potential of being quarantined outside the US for two weeks was looking very complicated on this end. Although any of these islands would be a inviting quarantine !
So, as you recommend, we will definitely get to St. Barts soon. I hear it is really a great trip. Our favorite so far is Antigua.
Thanks

We visited one yesterday and she fits in nicely, and she loves it !!!
Her only concern is backing up. Visibility not too good. Some of them have some sort of backing assist but if not, I'll just throw one in as I did with my 996.
Today we go and test drive a good candidate Boxster S.
Thanks

Get her a really nice spa day (massage, make over and some pampering) and then a nice dinner afterwards. Better travels days are ahead and don't rush the car purchase.

Roger that. We are planning to go to the PNA affair in Newport coming up. It is being held at Gurney's Newport. Good spa opportunities. We have gone to Gurney's Montauk many times in the past. And there, I have reaped the benefits of the spa day.
Good thought, and I agree St. Barts will be there next winter...
Thanks
Rick
