Hello! Long time lurker of the forums. Here is my 40 Jahre. I have always wanted a 996 as a retirement gift for myself when I retire from the military. I picked this up 3 years too early because it was a deal I couldn’t pass up. Not much has been done since I’m currently stationed elsewhere. All that was done was a Gundo hack, Ohlins R&T and Advan wheels/tire combo to add a bit from my JDM heritage lol.
Advans look great on the 996! I have TEs on my RS and Works on my 996.

Looks great! I am down the street from the track (almost, but 7 or so miles away) building a house. I went to the Daytona Turkey Run a few weeks ago for giggles and saw a 996.1 aero package with a trailer behind it with a second set of wheels, I thought that might of been you, but that was on a Saturday or Sunday 4 or so weeks ago.
Will bring my 996 down here later this year for good. Moving from Chicago to FL.
Finally got the wrap done following the Elephant Racing suspension work (they also did the bars and lights) - next step: inside (seats, radio, etc.). Loving my “reborn” 2001 C4 - failed to do due diligence PPI when I bought it on BAT but…. The price was very right and now, after lots of time at my local Porsche dealer getting engine work galore, it’s running like new….
