Default Liqui moly engine flush?

Anyone use this pre oip change? Help with noisy lifters?

For the most part 996 dont have noisy lifters. If you think you do I would suggest recording your engine's sound and post it here. Put your phone on the ground below each bank and record for 10 seconds.

I use Seafoam from time to time. It does make the engine quieter.

I occasionally use Liquid Moly Jectron. Add it to a full tank of gas and be sure to run it out and then change the oil.

No, I just add a bottle to the fuel every 6 months. I change my oil every 3-4k miles.

Can’t comment directly on the Lubri-Moly product, they are generally first-rate, but in general “engine flushes” via oil are great for loosening lots of gunk and putting it in places you don’t want, like oil passages and lifters. Depends on how many miles on engine and how dirty it is, but mostly considered a bad idea unless done early in life of engine and done regularly.

I didn't need mine either as my fuel dilution numbers were fine but I did mine while replacing the AOS since it was quite easy at that point. The fuel dilution number did drop a bit so it certainly did not hurt!
