Talking C4S came into the shop to upgrade their wheels!

Just sharing some photos of the C4S we worked on. Looks really good. These are HRE FF01 wheels. This finish is called Tarmac (basically Satin Black) or you can get them in Liquid Silver. Fronts are 19x8.5 and the rears are 19x11. What are your thoughts on the wheels and how they look on the car? Do you think the silver would have been better?

I think I would have preferred silver or even a gunmetal. Definitely needs a drop though. Nice wheels either way!

Yeah never cared for black over black. Perhaps a dark metallic gray would have been better. Nice wheels though!

Same. Gunmetal grey would pop.

Gunmetal grey or gold would look great.

Since you asked - black wheels are fugly and the oversized low profile tires look like it's riding on compact spares. They should come with a free bowl of soup. Oh, but it looks good on you.

Some harsh comments in here. I think the wheels look good, but I always feel if you are going to put aftermarket wheels on a car, you need to lower it or it looks goofy. That's not a knock on the wheel/tire package.

I only see one, somewhat-ish harsh (maybe?). Rest are just honest / straight forward, and OP asked for thoughts / opinions. They are nice wheels no doubt, but that doesn't mean the current setup can't be improved further. Much of what else was noted I agree with.

You are correct, it was one harsh comment.

Not a fan of black on black but the wheels are sweet and like others said, lower it.

I second (or third, I guess) this but also note that the 18’s seem to ride better. Aesthetically, I haven’t been a fan of black wheels and the darkest color that seems to work is a graphite so there is still a bit of contrast.
