I just want to say: DO NOT USE IT ON RUF PEDALS!!!
Sorry, didn't mean to shout but it kinda messed up my nice expensive pedals.

C4C_Leon, May I ask why you would want to Rejex your pedals? Wouldnt that make them a bit slippery and dangerous? Only my thoughts I guess.

I must admit I have ordered 3 bottles of the stuff. Bit of a PITA to get noone stocks it in Australia and there is no distributor either. Called CorrosionX and they are shipping 3 bottles next week

Well I got mine in. My car is black so I wanted to see how it did.

The application was just like anything else. Went on smooth. The instructions say to allow it to dry to a haze and "effortlessly" wipe off. Well on a Black car it did not wipe off "effortlessly" I tried several amounts of dry or hazing times and all took a fair bit of rubbing to even out the finish.

After it was polished out nicely the car felt smooth and looked great. But the "effortless" removal is a joke on black.

Does one 16 oz. bottle will do for a car, or do I need to order two bottles to complete the car?

Does anyone know where in Europe I can find this stuff? Thanks in advance

J:

See the attached picture. I would say after the removal the results were great. We will see how it holds up.............

And I did not use very much so a 16oz bottle will last quite a while.

my car is black. Will Rejex help cover fine swirl marks the way that wax does?

The RUF's have knobby rubber all over the pedal so no risk of slippage. I just thought to Rejex the aluminum part to make it easier to clean. After all, the pedals and the carpet are the dirtiest things inside the car. But the result I got was an uneven cloudy haze over the aluminum parts. I can only hope it will wear off in time.

Philip:

The bottle says it is not intended to cover scratches.

Thanks Tim, I read that also. What I am wondering is how a balck car with "normal" swirl marks covered with Rejex will look VS a balck car with "normal" swirl marks covered with wax.

So far it looks slicker. Keep in mind I have not had mine coated for more than a few days.

Will let you know.....

I found another great use for ReJex. I works great for keeping stainless steel kitchen appliances clean. I applied a coat of it to our dishwasher front, and to the range, and now fingerprints and gunk just wipe off. I also put it on the glass window in the oven to keep burnt stuff from sticking.

If Rejex is good enough for helicopter turbine exhausts, it is good enough for my dishwasher!

Default Rejex over ClearBra?

Can/should Rejex be applied to ClearBra surfaces?
