Congrats that looks sharp. RFMC is on my almost-daily rotation of dealers to browse. Always interesting stuff there. Did you get a ppi done and if so, can you share their info? Might come in handy. Thanks!

I ended up not getting a PPI. I was going to but it was another $350 at a local Porsche dealer on a very clean car that had a major service completed last year and the IMS, clutch, flywheel and RMS replaced 2 years ago. Instead they provided a detailed video walkthrough with their head mechanic while the car was on the lift. I was comfortable enough moving forward. YMMV. Also, I did negotiate for a new set of Michelin Pilot PS2s as part of the deal so that was taken care of prior to delivery. The car is nearly perfect.

They also provided a series of regular walk around videos and a cold start video.

I bought both my 997.2 and 996.1 online with no PPI, sight unseen. In hindsight that was reckless, but I got lucky both times.

On mount replacement, jack is just to support engine. I’ve replaced without raising car at all.

Get a good set of Ramps, makes everything eazier.
