Help with radio code
I have a Becker cdr 220. Not sure if it was original probably not. I got a correct amp Nokia 6x40 from LAD. The radio has some yellow stickers and seems to operate fine when you turn it on and even ejecting a cd. The radio does not have the side white sticker with the serial number. Now writing on the radio shows K845 Maybe that was the Dismantlers stock number and this could be the serial number 180161a, I assume you would put a Y in front of the number. Any help would be appreciated.
first I got model number. When I rotated again I obtained something that maybe that 4
digit code. Then the serial number. I think I tried to
input code incorrectly so it’s saying wait. I’m going to talk to my dealership contact to get code with serial number.

did you receive the owner's manual? sometimes the dealer writes the code on a business card and sticks it in the folder.
yes I got one and also
a service book with no stamp on it. I am almost certain that during the car life somebody bought this items. Anyway because of the sticker on the Radio when we pullout out I am certain this came from a third party and not the original radio. Yeah I talk to the dealer no answer yet, but they told me next service on car, oil change, tire pressure check, ew wipers and overall inspection $652. Yeah sure I’m taking it there. Anyway the radio has been stuck in wait for 3.5 hours. I am going to disconnect the battery, any advice appreciated!!

Definitely cheaper to do your own oil changes.
The 996 is one of the easiest cars to change the oil in.
Just be ready for the RUSH of oil.
With the large drain plug on the very bottom, it pours out quickly at first.
I let mine drain for about 45 minutes at least.

I already saw thee we mechanicss ax that looked at the cat and got it ready for sale did not put an aluminum washer, anyway I got another $500 off the price for the oil leak. Since I was concerned about strip threads I got a new drain plug and washers from both advance auto and Porsche I already fixed that problem and cleaned underneath with brake clean. That dealership lost $500 for at most a $2 aluminum washer.
The "wait"mode on the radio means wait while driving the car, usually an hour the first time (more if you re-enter another wrong code).
The time with engine/key off DOESN'T COUNT as part of the "wait period"....
