My wife and daughter are both 5'2" and they can fit in passenger seat and rear passenger seat without much issue. I'm 6'2" 240 and slide in driver's side with ease.

I am 6'5" with 34' inseam, 36" waist and 230 lbs, I have had a G series, 996 Targa, 993 S, 991 S, 997 S and I have been extremely uncomfortable in all of them (although I am obviously hooked on the brand), I swapped out the seats in the G series and the 993 for Recaro's, they were somewhat better but not perfect, sold the 991 as just couldnt get comfortable and didn't want to swap out the seats, currently have the 997 with the hard back sports seats and find them uncomfortable after 20 minutes in the car, main area is the shoulders, as I reach forward for the steering wheel, my shoulder blades dig into the bolsters, currently researching alternative seats (which lead me to this thread), the largest seats I can find are Corbeau, but they don't seem to have a good reputation, I have a set of Recaro experts in L, but still not quite right, does anyone have any recommendations for seats to fit a street car? (no racing or helmet required)

6'2 as well. I fit fine, but if you're planning to track your helmet will be touching the roof quite a bit limiting your head movement. The lack of tilt in the steering wheel is also a bit annoying if you have long legs. I'm looking ultimately at a bucket with sliders at a lower seating position. There is also a guy here that sells steering wheel extensions to bring the wheel a little closer to you if you need it.

Targa owner.
6'5" 205lbs with 37" inseam. Could definitely use an extra inch or two of legroom. I did the GT3 Console delete as long drives were unbearable. Headroom fine.

I'm closer to 6'4" and I find the 996s headroom and legroom adequate on the road but, for me at least, wearing a helmet is difficult. My helmet hits the roof (especially the leather trim at the a-pillar) so I find myself slouching and aggravating my neck when tracking or AXing in a 996.

Ever been to Germany where these cars are designed and built? I have and you have no worries about being too tall. I might be worried about being too bigly, but mot too tall.

I'm a tall guy too at 6'3"-4" (depending on shoes... hahaha). Never had a problem fitting in a 996, but don't make me get in the back seat!

6.4 here, , 4th 911, 85turbo coupe, 89targa, 01cab and 04cab. I do not fit in a coupe, head hits. Leg room not an issue. Getting in and out is always an exercise. All depends if your length is up top or below.

One thing people don’t mention often when asking if they will fit in a 911 is the foot space. My feet are men’s size 13, and if I wear a shoe with a bigger sole or heel (like a running shoe), I find that my toes bump the heater duct above the accelerator. I have to wear a very thin soled shoe to avoid any toe interference from above.

I typically wear a size 13-14 sneaker and I can drive the 996 (not the 3.2 Carrera) with these sneakers, although they tend to get in the way some with spirited driving. I experimented a bit with smaller shoes and found a pair of stretchy size 12 Adidas running shoes that i could cram my feet into that also have a fairly thin sole. They are great for driving the 996 (they also worked pretty well for the 3.2 Carrera).

With the 997, I am ok with shoe/foot clearance with normal shoes, the seat also goes back far enough, my issue is with the width of the seat at the shoulder level, it's just not wide enough, the Recaro's are pretty much the same, Corbeau make the A4 seat in a wide fitting, but going on the dims on their website, it wont fit in the 997....so I am looking for a seat with normal bum width, but a higher back and wider shoulder area - any suggestions??
