Screwed up. Mine should have no RMS and I accidentally checked RMS at 5,000 miles. For some reasons, I misread that to mean no issues rms at 5,000.

8500 miles on my late '99 c2 cab. No RMS leak that I'm aware of thus far but may be too early to tell. Sounds dreadful.

I have no RMS but have had a oil pressure sender switch go on me. 7000Kms at the time but nothing since. I look every time I drive out of the garage. What a way to live

i have asked rc to post a similiar poll on rennteam. if you have alredy vote here please don't enter the same data on rennteam. this way we will get more meaningful statistics. i'll post a summary of both sites here and on rennteam when the data has all been collected.

i applaud scousers new rms club! i hope our poll are of some additional help. with respect though i hope i never become a full fledged member!

I have just recieved a response from Porsche Iberica on my out of warranty RMS leak issue, they will refund me €17!! yes about 20 bucks! I expected nothing since they are not forced to do it legally (though morally) since warranty has expired so even though its their fault from a design error thats still not fixed... but refunding €17? I'm really insulted.
Needless to say those €17 will be going back to Porsche Iberica with a nice letter of appreciation on may part.

Carlos,
I am no legal expert but if they have given you even a "cent" for a refund, isn't that an admittance to fault by them. That is, they have acknowledged that they have a design flaw and their way of saying sorry is by compensating you a measly EUR17. I just wonder if there is room for a libel here.
Hope so

Keep yer chin up mate,
Berny

Thanks Berny, I have now the address of the person at Porsche Iberica responsible and what I want now is an explanation and an apology.
