Default Found something in Cabin Air Filter Box
Hello,

I was replacing cabin air filter for my 996 4S and found something - please see below image.

I opened up cabin air filter area and it was sitting on the air filter and it seems like it is not suppose to be there.

If anyone has idea what it is, please advise. Thank you in advance.

It looks like a GPS antenna attached to a small screen to me.

Follow the cables see where they are going. That may tell you what it is? Do you have an aftermarket radio with navigation? Also could this be lojack or something like it?

Lojack? If it is its fairly cheap to re-start one in your name. there is a cigarette pack sized box for the unit.
