I don't need opinions on the decal itself, I know it does not belong there.( there were no GT3RS's in the US, maybe even none in 2000) What I'm looking for is how to best remove it (it's over the paint/clearcoat) Maybe a hair dryer as opposed to heat gun? (heat gun may get too hot)
Next, worse case scenario, paint fade leaves a shadow, I guess I'll have to live with that.
Lastly, the wing, I'll take opinions on that, should it stay or go (Mrs kind of likes it) and if you know anything about it, like who made it, I would appreciate that.
TIA, Greg

Saw the pic hut only partial wing view. Need a decent pic of that.
hair dryer should work and a good compounding should remove the shadow if any.

I would leave it as is, it looks good. If it has been on for a while, removing it may open a can of worms.I would just add a small script to the end saying GT3RS "not".......

You can try a hair dryer if you don’t have a heat gun. Heat guns are fine, just keep it moving and plastic razors help. You can use steam as well.

Hair dryer and plastic trim tool. Several good YouTube videos to show the process. Take your time and they’ll come off clean. If the significant other likes the wing then...

That looks awful, I would take both of them of immediately. I don't think the silver will fade much. Thats more like red or yellow pigment base that would fade. I happen to have the arctic silver decklid parts to remove your spoiler If you pay for shipping you can have them.

This great AMMO NYC video illustrates a few different ways to safely remove decals. The subject car is pretty cool too, Alex Roy’s record breaking Cannonball M5.

I’ve removed LOTS of race car decals.
Normally if it is warm outside, I just pull the car outside and leave it in the sun.
The decals should come off pretty easily.
You can use a heat gun, just keep moving it.
I would keep the spoiler.
I like it!
If you decide to remove it, let me know if you want to sell it.

There's a hint of boy ricer, I mean racer in that wing but, hey, that's just me! If your Mrs likes it, you know what they say, happy wife happy life. The decal, however, definitely needs to go.

Wing: (not my personal thing, but) Looks good. The stock wheels is what is throwing the overall look "off".
Decal: (script): Doesn't look terrible, but I'm against "fake" badging. I'd personally remove it.
(Maybe you replace it with "Carrera" or "C2/C4"?)
(checker stripe): Not my thing, but doesn't look bad in the muted/non flashy colors. I say keep it. (Only if you keep the wing, too)
Change your wheels!
It's the easiest way and most visually significant alteration someone can make to their car.
