Default Looking for the best rotor and pad setup

I am going to change out my brakes even though they look okay. I want my own setup. I don’t really know whats on there right now.
What do you guys use currently and who has the best deal?
Thanks in advance.

Depends on best, for a daily driver? Track use? Doing DE events? Really depends on what you want it for. Since mine is a daily driver, and it has worked so well for a long time, I went with stock OE rotors and some ceramic pads (I don't remember which ones) from Pelican Parts. Fairly low dust and stops dead on. Just my two cents...

I just picked up a set of Sebro slotted rotors for mine. I ran Textar pads (OEM equivalent) and have been very happy, even for moderate track use. Dusty though. Also have a set of StopTech Sport pads I'm going to try at track this year, but haven't tried them yet, so have no feedback.

good to hear since I'm doing my first DE in ages in three weeks. I have the OEM textar pads, on a 200hp Boxster. I'm hoping these pads will be sufficient on street tires

Akebono pads go from washing filthy wheels weekly to still looking good after a month of daily driving. Brake feel great for cruisers, but not a lot of bite preferable for racers. Discs coated Zimmermans; painted vents and hubs high temp silver to look better and ensure no rust. Should have spent a little more time painting each drilled hole they get a little rust in them it's noticeable.
