Ideas on keeping receipts and documentation?

Other than writing the oil change mileage inside the owner's manual back cover, I don't bother. Planning to keep the car until it and/or I die a fiery death; if the car lives and I don't, screw the next guy.

I keep all mine in a secret compartment between my ears, I will never loose them and nobody can access them.
The only external record is a little sticker on the upper left corner of the windshield, reminding me of next service due. I will never sell ,and records will be buried with me..

The original owner of my car included a binder that had the original window sticker, original sales contract, some magazine covers from the time and EVERY receipt for everything that was done to the car under his ownership. I quit saving car receipts years ago but in this case, I decided to continue what the PO was doing. I bought some empty binder sleeves and have continued adding things. I'll probably have to buy a second binder before my ownership is done.
