I had water in driver's seat rear and it ruined my ECU. I had to send the key ecu and immobilizer to ECU DRs to repair and reprogram on my Turbo. The water must of been there a while as there was corrosion on the circuits. I also got the waterproof box from them you know just in case it happens again. The seat is easy to remove. I lifted and opened the carpet everywhere COuld not believe how much water was in there. CHECK THOSE DRAINS FOLKS!!

The foam padding is a nightmare to dry, It holds water and needs to be pressed out or it just stays wet.

Yes I was squeezing it out for a couple of days. Used a blow drier on low to circulate air
