If you ever have a chance to listen to a 3 cylinder, 2 stroke snowmobile, like a stock late 90's Skidoo Formula III 600. It almost sounds the same as the RZ. It just needs the popping sounds of the extra cylinder to match it. Otherwise it is pretty close to what my RZ sounded.

Oh I am familiar with the 3 cylinder two strokes, I had a 1974 Kawasaki 400 triple, and have raced/ridden the 750 and 500 triple (widowmakers) . I had the first 750 triple I ever rode dump me off the back when it hooked up on the pipe..lol The triple two stokes were the most fabulous sound I have ever heard, I just figure the V4 two-stroke would be a cut above, just haven't had the pleasure.

Probably should have kept a nice rust free 65 Mustang 289 4-speed I had in the 90s. Most 65s had the automatic or base 3-speed manual.
Car I regret not buying that I inspected was a highly original rust free 66 Shelby GT350. A friend of a friend had it at his house in Atlanta. He was building a new house, went over budget, and needed some cash. He offered it to me for 10k. I decided to buy a new Mustang GT instead for 13k. This was in 1985.
There was also a Lamborghini Miura for sale about 15 miles from my house in the late 80s. They were asking 40k, which I thought was too much, so I didn't bother looking at it.

I never have a problem getting excited about buying a new vehicle, just not very good at letting them go. As such, I haven’t sold any of them in almost 20 years and still use them all as much as possible. Other than the 996, here’s the rest of the herd...

I loved my 85 GT. Factory ordered it just the way I wanted it. It got punted into a concrete divider on the highway one rainy night while my sister was driving it. No one was hurt, but the car was destroyed.

Wanted a 65 fastback but at a motorcycle dealer was struck by lightning; Firecracker Red 1982 GPZ 550. Bought that model cash included Bell helmet and blessed to still be alive today.

I don't know why I enjoyed this car so much. Was a perfect winter car with mechanical feeling and old school quattro with toggleable locking differential at rear.
And here's the TT that was my first "high performance" car with ~400hp. It was actually faster than my 911 at least on a straight line. Traded it for that white Mercedes which someone crashed into while it was parked and used the insurance money to buy 911.

1966 Vette BB 427, Owner her for 15 years, rebuilt her from the chassis up my self. It was as much fun working on her as it was driving her. She is with her new owner somewhere in the North East now.

I've owned a lot of cool vehicles..vettes, turbo talon, stealth and others but one of my favorite cars ever was an 89 accord lxi 5 speed...lol
I don't know why but even today I still miss this car, in fact i saw one driving on the freeway a few days ago and wanted to follow the guy home and ask if he wanted to sell(don't know if it was a stick or not)
and my 69 roadrunner 383 4 speed with a hurst pistol grip shifter
