Default Recommendation for Repair Shop in North Metro Atlanta?..,

Close to first oil change for for 03 C4S got in February. Know good number of places do oil changes, but wanted to use this to check out a repair shop for the inevitable more expensive visit

Which corridor are you closest to? Ga 400, or I 85?

Be more concerned with "better" than closer.

I could tell you a lot of people to avoid (but I can't), as we pretty much see the fallout.

There's lots of shops to choose from up the 400 corridor, but not so much up 85. Graham Everett at the Turn 1 complex at Road Atlanta is a great resource, as he pretty much works alone, and takes a lot of time. While they are on the south side, Cali Automotive have earned my respect.

Have you become a member of Peachstate PCA yet?

Have you considered doing the oil change yourself?

I had zero experience doing an oil change on a P-car but after getting getting it off the ground, I found it to be the easiest oil change I have ever done.

To get the car up, I used the following:

Two ESCO jack stands (Amazon)
Jack pads (sold here on Marketplace)
Two Rhino ramps
Floor jack

After that, everything is easily accessible. I purchased, my filters, o-rings and filter wrench from Pelican Parts and a bunch on Motul 8100 x-chess 5W-40 off of Amazon.

I'd recommend a sump cover drop on your first oil change if it wasn't done during the PPI. I dropped mine and found a timing chain roller. This decision kept me from grenading an engine.
