Yes, Hellcat was modded. Here's the dyno video below.
Best friend owns a dealership, he said, "hey look at this 911 and service records". It was a good deal so I took it and wanted something to hold me over until I retire in January of '20.
I have an extensive car history that makes no sense, maybe a disease.

Supercharger whine is such a wonderful sound. I hear you with the disease, I am getting close to 33 and I think I have had almost as many cars lmao.

I am not sure it may have been, he was a bracket racer and had a great light, me on the other hand.
Decades since I was in front of a tree, caught at the end

Reaction time was horrible, but magnified by bog.
The car has a 5000 rpm launch control and 295 rear tires. But bewteen that is a LWFW, that is a huge difference from launching with a heavy DMFW.
In addtion, the track had great bite.
You can listen to the massive rpm drop, I only made a couple passes. If I were to go again, I could shave off more than a second by easing out the clutch.
You can compare these two videos, the second video, the car still had DMFW, as well as being on street not a drag strip

(Quoting "Airplane")

Excuse me, I speak acronym

LWFW = lightweight flywheel
DMFW = dual-mass flywheel

(well, now I speak it, had to look it up)

Default No AMG package on SLK also 03 maybe

I'd say a SLK320, 315 HP w available 6 Speed, a SLK 32 has automatic, also 355 horse.

I think his 996 is built nicely, and the 996 overcame a 1.0 sec. deficit on the tree. (a pro racer can get this down to .02 petty consistently)

(you tube Ronnie Sox, Not only could he shift like no other, but can't remember him red lighting either)
These were the days before Lenco's which you just keep pulling a stick back when shift light comes on

He's right about LWFW, Track, and the rest, tough to get hooked up when your setup for curves.

2 biggest adjustments on Fuelers and Funny cars are Clutch and Blower setup.
Everyone says "we'll go back and look at Data and then make some adjustment, Dial it in to either come on earlier or later in the hook up after launch.

I use to Drag race and still go to US Nationals every year. (Indy 500 of Drag Racing)

It's a great sport, but runs on big money, like all racing.

What I always like about Drag Racing when I was younger was the paint jobs cars had, Some of the best painters in the world were dong the work.

NHRA has awards for Best Paint, Best Engineered besides the Wally trophy.

Jungle Jim

Couple of hard chargers from Louisiana, I think their Red car was even more beautiful. It's funny (no pun), then a paint and Striping airbrush, lettering cost 3-5K, now this would be 35-40K if not more, Paint, Gold Leaf, Striping, Airbrush work

Big John almost always won class, and Gas elimination at meet, but also best paint, or engineered. It had chrome everywhere, Including Chassis, rear end, etc.

What is the 1.67 time that flashes before the 9.06? Is this a 1/8th mile track? Any idea what your car will do in the 1/4 mile?

1.67 = My reaction time, his 0.67
Yes, it was the 1/8 mile.
The E.T. is really irrelevant, considering the issues when the car launches.
The only part I could be happy about, was catching the SLK after spotting him a full 1 second, it shows how fast the 996 accelerated, 1/8 mile is only 660 feet.
It was fun, but a Porsche at a Drag Strip is really a fish out of water, just don't tell the fellas who did my tune at Evolution MotorSports, check out Mayhem

A 9.0 in the 1/8th is about 14.0 in the 1/4. There just aren’t that many 1/4 mile tracks anymore.
