I kinda like the look, but I predict cooling issues.
Especially if it doesn't have a third radiator.

I read the title and thought, oh boy this’ll be hideous. But it looks fantastic.

Cool! I guess if you didn’t need headlights it would make this easier.

I like it. But then again, I liked the 996 wide body kit too.

Looks like it was put up for auction in 2015 (edited) sale by a dealer in France.

After the well-deserved success of the 993, the last air-cooled 911, Porsche undertakes the development of an entire new model. With liquid-cooled engine and a new style, the 996 will receive a cold reception from Porsche-aficionados, but its performances will open a new era for Porsche. Here, this problem is totally resolved. And beyond that, this 996 receives an entire hand-crafted body shape, with aluminum bonnet and sides which evokes the famous racing 935 and 930 Turbo SE Flatnose. Probably made on request of the German Autobild magazine, Herr Knapp, to a design bureau, this car has new front with a flat bow. The Boxster-styled lights have been suppressed for a new Xenon-lightning. After that, the entire car has been chromed following the Mirrachrome process. Under its showcar's dress, this Porsche is a 2000 Carrera 2, 3.4l engine with 300 bhp and six-speed manual gearbox,, with German registration. This Slantnose was presented during the Porsche meeting of 2008 in Stuttgart. It has many Porsche options, a body kit with rear spoiler and underseals, but also a sport low-profile wheelbase. This hand-made Slantnose only has 63.933 km and is in exceptional condition, a unique opportunity to acquire such a piece of engineering, which takes place in Porsche history among the side of the 935.

I still say it needs pop up headlights and fender vents. Head lights are too low to be legal?
