Fuel Pump relay location?

Fuel Pump relay location?
Have 2000 C4 - drove to work no problem. parked. Came out after work (no rain) - engine turned over but won't fire. First time for this one. Checked fuses (C1-C4) all good. Thinking from reading threads - might have a bad Fuel Pump DME relay. Does that make sense? Drove in no problem, but after sitting won't start? Where is the Fuel Pump DME relay? Anyone have any pictures (I'm a visual guy). If I find the location - I can try to jumper just to see if that is it. (then purchase a new one).
Thoughts? location drawings?
Thanks

I hope it’s a relay, but more often, I’ve heard of fuel pumps going bad on these cars.

Thanks DBJoe. One more question. I've read that you can wire together a couple of the sockets to 'test' (i.e. bypass) the relay to see if that is the culprit. Think I pulled the correct relay (see picture) Any idea of which of the 4 slots i'm supposed to jumper to bypass on the board?

Just have to mention - a bad ignition switch (the electrical part) has been known to cause all sort of electrical gremlins. For a crank but no start condition, the usual culprits are ignition switch, fuel pump, or the CPS (crank position sensor). The CPS goes without warning. Does your tach needle bounce when you crank it over? If not, bad CPS. Let us know how it goes.

Will check the tach bounce. Tried the jumper of relay - no joy but worth a long-shot. Have a tow truck scheduled but will check tach before he takes it. Will update thread when I know more. Joy of ownership of an awesome car.

The relay (pin 30) is hot at all times (even with no key in the ignition) so if you jumped it correctly and don't hear your fuel pump, it's very likely your fuel pump is dead.
