I found a very nice battery tray on eBay to replace my tray that has some corrosion. It was about $25 as I recall. Cheaper than cleaning and painting the rusted one.

It's not too hard to find the diagrams online. I have multiple TVs in my man cave and one of them is set up so I can Cast from the computer. It's nice when you're assembling something to have a nice big diagram right in front of you.

That's what my Toughbook is for.
I usually print them out so I can keep them nearby while working.

I have a TV in the garage too, but I haven't turned it on since last Memorial Day.
I've found that if I have a TV playing in there that I get distracted, so usually I have my Echo Dot (Alexa) playing music for me.
"She" also controls my wall-mounted fans for me.

My TV is mostly for youtube “tutorials” or my youtube playlist (music)

first few pics looks like a lot of positive camber in the rear. what's up with that? is it just photo angle?

Looking at the pics, it does look wierd.

Not sure if its a bad angle or an alignment issue as the car is in the air waiting to get torn down as I type. I’ll update with any findings once I get into it

I guessing you probably know this already but there is a 996 parts out car that is listed in the Baltimore CL. I don't know the year. In case you are still looking for parts.

Thanks for the tip, thats my buddy Andy. Sadly I dont really need any OEM parts for this build yet or I'd be all over that thing lol

Was getting ready to tackle the suspension swap but took a detour.

Removed bumper/headlights. Simple enough. Removed air horn system and wiringthat previous owner installed
Installed new (used) battery tray and new nuts
Installed new center caps on 17” wheels

Next up, clean radiators
Purchase bumper hardware as bumper was being held on by tape and 6 bolts/screws
