Default Wheel ID

Hey folks,
I'm looking at another 1999 Cab that's for sale. Owner states wheels are "factory" to the best of his knowledge.
I'm far from being an expert myself, but I thought I've seen all of the factory wheel options available for this model year.
Does anybody recognize this wheel as a factory option?

Thanks!

Those don't look like the factory wheels that were offered in '99. Ask the owner for the option sticker that is located under the hood. The wheels may be listed. Also, if they're factory, they'll have the Porsche part number posted on the inside of each wheel.

I agree with above. Those do not look like any stock OE 99 wheels I've ever seen. That being said, they do look pretty sharp, so why worry about it.

They're not in the Porsche TechArt catalog.

Thanks guys -
I thought they were aftermarket. Definitely not the worst looking wheel, although I'm a bigger fan of factory offerings that are correct to a car's model year.

No, they’re not bad looking.
I prefer factory wheels on cars when they look decent.
I’ve never had problems with factory wheel fitment.
But I’ve run into problems with aftermarket wheels before.

I agree, those are good looking wheels, but if you prefer the factory originals, you may want to search for some 17" or 18" turbo twists which were very common on the mk1 cars.
