Default Set clock from 24 hr to 12

Clock is set to 24hr / military time. How does one set it to AM / PM?

I looked in my manual and there is no reference to that.

I found mention in the 2003 manual - you have to use the On-Board Computer options - check the index for page references (around page 90?)

Note
The time mode can be changed between 12h
and 24h in the on-board computer.

12/24h mode
Select time mode:
12h, (small squares on the left side of the time
display for AMIPM),
24h

I should have specified that my manual is the 2000 edition.

Just a thought....try pressing in on the clock button and holding it in until the time changes to 12:00 or whatever. Or, without pushing in the button, turn it to the right and hold until it changes.
