what safety precautions are required on track with a cab? top down? I thought at minimum that the top had to be up..but I really am guessing to be honest. I may see you at Roebling some time, I'm just up the road in Myrtle Beach

Typically you do have to run with the top up. Tomorrow I’m with a small group who rented out the track so we pretty much have open track with limited rules and I can run with my top down. Requirements really depend on the group your runnning with. The cabs have pop up roll bars so they pass the PCA safety requirements. I also have a fire extinguisher mounted under the passenger’s seat as a precaution.
I haven't washed my Porsche in more than a month. I've even driven it in the rain, taken multiple short trips, and parked it on uneven payment. I guess that's enough evidence to get me kicked out of the Porsche club.
