Wow! That is AWESOME! I was really sad to hear of your accident. I am really happy to see you back on the road. The car looks amazing with a fresh coat of paint! Please post more pics! Which color green do you have? It doesn't look very green anymore.

It's Rain forest Metallic. I think it's the same as yours. It looks different in different lighting conditions. They matched the paint very well.

Sorry to hear about your car. Glad you are safe and unharmed. I take it, it was the other guy's fault? Glad she got fixed and back on the road.

Congrats. How does it drive? Looks like they did a nice job on the repair.

Thanks, I'm happy to have it back, especially after two months. It looks and drives like new - they even detailed the interior. I just have to remember never to drive it or park it anywhere ever again. I'll have a pedestal built for it so I can admire it like a trophy.

That has been only a minor scar... so, I hope you enjoy it for another 70K miles and more!

It was just under $10k.

Wow!
Surprised they didn't total it.
Glad to know that at least some insurance companies still pay to repair instead of totaling.

It was very close. The body shop worked with me because they didn't want it to get a salvage title. The rear wheel replacement would have put it over the top but they called in a favor to get one at a low price. I've had my car repaired there a few times before and they are great. If anyone on Long Island is in need of body work, I strongly recommend Venture Auto Body Services in Freeport, NY.

I missed your update on this but I'm happy to see you kept another green 911 on the road!

Thanks. Yours is the nicest color I've seen. And the only one.

Thank you! I'm completely smitten by it as well. There are a few other dark teal cars that have checked in on the boards but I seem to be the most "vocal"

Default Epilogue

The other guy's insurance company took 100% of the responsibility, so my $500 deductible has been fully refunded and no bump to my insurance premiums. Final score: Foamy 1, Mack Truck 0.
