Default keys

hi folks, please can anybody help, put my first key thru washing machine, had it repaired and tried to get it to resync to car .the second key was working perfect but now whatever i have done its now not working . its a 2004 carrera. car is starting with both keys, manual lock working. i have read more options on internet but all different. regards to all

You'll need to bring the key and the car to the Porsche dealer to have it reprogrammed. That's as long as you didn't ruin the internal electronics. They will be able to tell you.

The only way they can reprogram is if you have the 20+digit barcode. It might be in your manual or service book if someone replaced a key and saved the number.

Hello ,you need to reprogram remote control again ,without code 24 character (card) isn't possible, dealer sold you new key fob but you haven't to buy next one new. I can help you with this issue ,contact me directly by private message.

smuko, do you sell replacement keys (well housing and electronics?) and can you walk me through programming them?

I've been down this road with my BMWs and late model SAABs. (yes, SAAB had keyfobs!) Anyway, I would advise you to not take the easy route, but go to the dealership and get you two new keyfobs programmed. Heck, they may be able to reprogram the one that got washed. I wish Porsche was like BMW where you can go to the dealership, show ID, and title, and order more keys. I believe Porsche will require the car to be present while programming new keyfobs.

Dealership need the car because they program the car to the keys not the other way around.

Second way to program key (remote control part) exist . I can do this directly on table without car ,only PAS unit and key is neccessary I do gratis this for somebody who need this help .For more question contact me direct by PM.
