Default Another Cabriolet problem.

I can't figure out how to get the top back in the edge and stay there!

I just bought the car and according to last owner its been sitting in garage with top down most all the time.

This....Had the exact same problem/issue. Read up on how to replace the top, specifically how to take apart the front of the front and how it all goes together. I got a rivet gun and a large rivet and reattached the "pin" after drilling it out. Took me a couple of hours and worked and looked as good as new. Just be careful of the side aluminum piece that is under the fabric, on each side. They will bend easily. Good luck!!!

definitely a common problem. and if one side went, the other side is probably getting ready. beside the tip to get a rivet gun, i just wanna add...get a magnetic bit holder! you do NOT want to accidentally drop a screw into the cesspool that is the cab top bay

My cab started doing this too. The tension cable that goes across is actually much tighter, which is pulling the top in towards the center of the car. That’s where you can see the hole there. I saw that there’s a bar that came loose. I’ll have to dig in and fix it.
