Will jacking up front lift the rear wheels up off ground?
OK, I've seen some examples where the car is lifted in the rear jack point and the front wheels come off the ground. Is it possible to jack up the front at its jack point and have the rear wheels come off the ground to place a jack on the rear side jack point? I know there are some jack points in the rear suspension but would rather use the official jack points. And yes I know I could try this myself to see if it works but I've got a bad back right now.

Jack from rear lift point to raise the front.
Place jack in front lift point.
Repeat on other side.
Use cross member in front of motor to lift entire rear end.
Place jack stands under both rear points.
You probably wouldn't want to lift the rear from the front. A lot more weight in the rear for obvious reasons.

Got the rear end up today. Used a low profile harbor freight jack to lift up each side of the car under the crossmember where the alignment nutt is. Work from the rear of the car. The handle should more or less be even with the exhaust pipes. Worked perfectly and was able to get some u-joint jack stands under each round jack point. Placed both rear tires under the car for added insurance. And remember to chalk the front wheels.
