That would be great, spoke with the dealership and they said $154 CAD plus tax and a 2-3 week wait.

(JB weld held together, just for the accordion section just below it to crack, so she's currently wrapped in half a roll of electrical tape. Structural integrity and all that. Runs fine for now)

Less than 10 seconds at redline in the past 22 years, and that was within the first 24 hours of runtime! At least there haven't been any overrevs.
I might be full of it, but I do believe these cars (at least 993s) were road tested once by factory drivers after being manufactured. That might explain the redlines!

I’ve been wrong about plenty of things, but I’m pretty sure that this info reads as the most recently recorded range 1 over revs occurred 23.2 operating hours ago.
One thing I do know is that the “operating hours counter” maxes out at 6553.4h

Ah hah, found it - from the 996 brochure. Though on the bench the CPU obviously wouldn't be recording anything, maybe on the Autobahn.

Whoops! You're right on this one, per the Durametric site's "Buyers Guide to Used Porsches" at http://www.durametric.com/usedporschebuyersguide.aspx that's the number of operating hours when it last happened. (Applicable screenshot below.) Running the numbers I've put almost exactly 18 hours on the engine since I bought it so this would have been shortly before then. Guess someone got spirited on a test drive or they let a salesman take the car for the day. Wish they'd have changed the oil and coolant before running it up like that. All of the fluids were old when I got the car.

The count of range 1's and range 2's also maxes out at 65534.

Got an oil change at the dealership today. First under my ownership (had records of previous oil change and even talked to the shop that performed it). No debris in the filter. Learned that one the previous owners installed the LN Engineering spin on oil filter adapter kit (thanks!).

Got the OEM airbag deactivation bar and buckle (that I installed over the weekend) coded while there at no extra charge (thanks Hennessy Porsche!!). My lil' man absolutely loved sitting up front with me for the first time. His reaction made the mod totally worth it. Also, it's much easier to keep up with what he's doing and help him with snacks, water, iPad while we are on the move. If you have kids in car seats, I highly recommend this mod.

Also picked up this little umbrella. I bet a lot of y'all didn't know that that slot on the passenger side is an umbrella holder 😄. I ordered one of these leather umbrella pouches that are replicas of the OEM pouch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275657350988

Pic of the Porsche car seat using the airbag deactivation bar.

Note: This modern generation of the Porsche child seats do not come with the buckle that is required for the deactivation bar (see red strap going under the seat). That buckle came from an older Porsche child seat.

It's easy to uninstall. Just unclip the buckle at the front of the seat (which re-activates the air bag) and remove the child seat and it's ready for adult occupants.

Well, technically, the computer nerds say it maxes out at 6553.5h ((2^^16 - 1)/10)

That’s probably why I show a Range 1 ignition at 6553.5h, but my operating hours counter has been stopped at 6553.4 for the last 8K miles.

Well, if you put "Slick 50" in 8k miles ago, the hours probably wouldn't count
