Default Front Water Drain questions

Hey Porsche Aficionado's...

I am trying to clean out the drains in the front. I highlighted the battery cover in yellow and the remaining plastic covers in red and blue. I removed all three covers. Can I get to all the drains with just the covers removed? Or do I have to also remove the battery as well and the spare tire?
After removing the blue cover I found drain # 4 ( I think). Is drain #3 and #4 right next to each other under the blue cover? How do I access drains #2 and #1 ? Are they behind the gray carpet liner?
Thanks!

Yes you can do it with the battery still there.

Do you have the stock drains (like in the pic) or the upgraded (TSB) ones?

Just remove the left and right covers next to the battery and all the drains are there, in those well compartments. The upgraded drains are rubber plugs with slots in them to allow almost all water to drain instead of raised rubber plugs that could allow a bit of water to not drain.

The upgraded ones also just drain straight down and are not connected to the drain hoses.

Anybody have a part number for the upgraded drains 'rubber plugs' with slots?

I believe it looks like this:

I don't know the part number and cannot locate one. I did find this but I'm not sure if it is correct https://im356-911.com/collections/91...gs-6-reqd-m562 I would think that any Porsche dealer parts counter would be familiar with the right part number for the updated drainage grommet. Here is a similar thread. Apparently the OP got a part number. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...over-cowl.html

I also found this in the front cowl section at AutoAtlanta...but not sure if it is correct also. Maybe give them a quick call.

See post #13 regarding the TSB information on the upgraded drains...the PDF file has part numbers and description of the work https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...ns-02-c4s.html
