I'll probably order these soon but my advice would be to put the center ring in freezer for an hour before install to see if that will help.

I bought them on Ebay. They were cheap, not sure a group buy would make a significant enough difference.

It looks incredible. Are you sure it is stretched all the way and locked into place?
