Default Inexpensive, but Effective.

My interior is black. Like all black. Nothing but black...and in need of some highlights to spice it up.

This is a set of matte aluminum gauge trim rings sourced from www.didotuning.com costing $55 including shipping. They snap securely on the gauge rings and can be as easily removed.

I just ordered the exact same thing, through the same manufacturer on ebay. Looking forward to getting them! I think they look great!

I have the same ones. Amazing Porsche didn't do this from the factory, it adds so much to the look of the dash.

They are actually Polish. Here is the site: http://sklep2.didotuning.pl/334-911-996
The first one is gloss/shinny/polish finish the second one is a flat/mat/brushed finish.

Sorry about the bad link. BTW, it all in Polish. Thank goodness for Google translate!

Totally agree that these needed to be fitted by Porsche.

Interesting. These are quite a bit different than the ones I have seen previously. These seem to snap in and just put a small lip around the edge of the dials. The other rings I've seen in the past cover the sides of the dial surrounds in addition to the lip (and those require silicone sealant to install). I'm not sure which I prefer from a looks perspective, but these look like they are a bit easier to install. It's nice that these come in brushed aluminum, that is a much nicer look to me than the rings that are painted silver to look like aluminum (or painted in some other color).

Dido can do them in polished or matte finish, just specify when you order off ebay. Shipping is from Poland. I accidentally bent one when I was installing and he sent me a replacement free of charge, even with shipping from Poland, I couldn't believe it. Great customer service.

I have an older version and I paid double that price. Then for awhile they weren't available anywhere. Nice find.

Just finished snapping mine in...graphite gray interior. Not too shabby for less than $50. This set is matte and matches very well with the other trim.

I am failing to order a matte set on Ebay or their site. And the email from them when you register is not valid. Anyone have contact info that works?

Thanks.
