Can't you just return the bad lens and get a replacement?

Gorilla Glue, clear, may be worth a try too. The stuff you used is pretty good, so that's not a good sign.

My only thoughts are that the epoxy I used doesnt hold up over 80 degrees according to the box.
It did cross my mind that it would get hot in that spot as its above the mufflers, or I didnt use enough. I think the heat was the biggest factor.

That must be 80 C not 80 F.
That would be 176 F. Otherwise it would only be good for glueing ice cubes together into an iceburg.

So I'm not sure which way to repair this, either plastic super glue, plastic epoxy or this automotive sealant:

The original glue seems like a sticky sealant rather than a glue? I it has a flexible component to it.

Sorry guys was a bit slack updating everyone!
So I cleaned up all the dud epoxy, I either didn't use enough or mode likely its so hot above the muffler it gave out at 80 degrees (C) as the box suggests it would
I've just finished re-gluing it with Loctite standard superglue, I've got a group drive on the 20th of May so that will be the tell if it holds.
In the meantime I bought another set of tail lights but they don't have the clarity this set does so fingers crossed this new superglue fix actually lasts!!
There was a specific Loctite plastic superglue but it has an activator and a glue and I didn't really have the surface area to apply both, that will be the final solution to try if this doesn't hold.
Ugh why does everything 996 test my patience!! Haha

So I finally got around to fitting them!
Seems to he holding fine for now! Time will tell.
In other news I used some Meguires PlastiX to refresh my spare set - came out quite nicely.
Wasn't keen wet sanding and polishing as they weren't that bad. I also wanted to retain the original markings in the bottom right/left of each light.
