I know of a set of X74s that are about to hit the used market. They’ll probably last about 18 seconds before selling...

I went with an Eibach sport springs and Koni shock setup when I overhauled/upgraded at about 75k. I was surprised at how degraded and worn the original shocks were. The much stiffer new suspension actually rode smoother!

Bottom line - if you have a 996 it's probably time. And do your motor mounts too.

Mom pretty sure it was Turner Motor Sports - they usually specialize in BMW parts. They advertised a great price (about $50 cheaper than anyone else at the time) for the right part # I was looking for...
