Before. Never use the radio/cd player anyway
assembling pieces
display installation The other display is just a filler for now. I'll figure something out later for that hole.
wiring up the inputs from the DME
Success!!
Success! Finally got around to completing the installation, an am very pleased. A few minor bobbles with the Arduino and it's code, but with PT3's help got it working. Thanks again!

Is that one of those rare FSI IMSB Chip detectors? I don't know how sensitive that one is, but I for one believe strongly in the benefit of early chip detection.

These small conducter connectors are the cat's ***..no more Stacons!!

I have purchased the above car from Mike A. Did some tweaking. Finding an odd behavior at higher temps, seems like erratic measurements. Otherwise seems to climb in a fairly linear fashion as temps warm up. Posted a video below. Any thoughts?

Try hooking the power and ground from the unused telephone connector behind the dash instead of going all the way to the DME, I remember stopping a surging value one time on another car with that.

You were on the right track. Read some info about arduino stating a chassis ground is not recommended. Instead I crimped the pin for the ground to have better contact. Problem seems to be resolved.
