I have been doing quite a bit of searching and cannot determine whether I would be better replacing the timing chains with Iwis or staying with genuine. Opinions have been all over the place. I need some input if anyone has any.

 

What's the price difference? Or are you mainly concerned about quality or fitments?

 

Quality and fitment. I have read comments saying the iwis chain was better quality than the original. But I have also seen pictures of a snapped iwis chain. I have bought the chains but having second thoughts.

 

I can look up the OEM manufacturer tonight for you (it might be IWIS?)

I bought Iwis brand chains for my 928 and was unimpressed. Same pitch, different length of course.
