What's it worth? 2002 c2 w/a bad engine
The noise posted in the thread last week turned out to be my upgraded IMS destroying itself. I have decided against rebuilding the engine or getting a used motor since my wife and I were planning on doing a kitchen remodel and I would prefer to keep the funds for that. So I was wondering what I could sell it as is. The car currently has 104,500 miles and the body and interior I would rate as 8/10. The only mods on the car are an oem gt3 front lip, oem gt3 sideskirts, aftermarket gt2 wing and fister mufflers. Two weeks ago I replaced the engine mounts and front drop links. I will probably sell the Fikse's separately and include the oem wheels.

Give Parts Heaven here in Hayward, CA a call. It might be interested in the car.
Give Oklahoma Foreign -- in Oklahoma City -- a call. I did when I had a 2008 Cayman S with a salvage title. OF offered me the same money for car that the other driver's insurance allowed me. I decided to take a shot and arranged to have the car placed in a salvage car auction at a large auction facility out in the central valley and the car sold at auction for some couple of thousand dollars more than the car's value.
Not sure your car would do well at an auction even if you could arrange to get ok from the facility's general manager.
But if either PH or OF is interested the process should be rather quick and painless. For OF the guy I talked to said he would transfer half the money to my account when I agreed to the deal. The truck driver that would be sent to pick up the car would give me check for the other half when I handed over the keys and salvage title signed releasing all interest in the vehicle.

Ebay will bring $6k but Rennlist will usually bring $8k if your patient.
Unfortunately Oklahoma Foreign is long gone.
