I recently switched from PSE Style mufflers (gundo) to Fister bypass style. Both were paired with my M&M Racing Catless X-Pipe. The picture below shows the difference between the two. I also made comparison videos with a quality Rhode Mic for you to hear the difference. Overall - The fister mufflers with the partial external bypass sounds amazing with the x-pipe. Slightly deeper tone and way more volume in person vs the PSE style mufflers. Both setups have no drone.

I have both plus muffler delete, take the Fister.
Straight pipe with car chemistry 3 disk baffles, very loud no drone at 3100 rpm but too loud in the cabin for a 6 hour drive.
Gundo, too quiet, not much more than stock unless I stepped on on it.
Fister - PERFECT !!!! Bypass the muffler !! Extra nice low rumble at idle, the neighbors hear you coming but not annoyingly so. Very good rrrraaaaaAAAAAPPPPP when I step on it. Quiet at cruising speed ( 80mph and have conversation with no problem), but good volume during acceleration.
